Bodycare partners with SANE Australia

Bodycare Workplace Solutions is proud to be partnering with SANE Australia to help change the face of mental health in workplaces around the country.

Both Bodycare and SANE are passionate about helping Australians impacted by mental illness and believe in taking a practical approach to addressing both mental and physical health in the workplace and society at large.

“We are thrilled to be working with SANE Australia, the Mindful Employer program is one that we see great value in. SANE Australia plays such an important role in the community and we feel our passion for improving the overall health of working Australians is perfectly aligned with SANE’s mission: helping all Australians affected by mental illness lead a better life.” explains Claire Ebstein, Head of Proactive Services at Bodycare.

The Bodycare team have worked with SANE to develop a 1 day workshop which will address mental health, discuss early warning signs and the appropriate skills for early intervention whilst also addressing how you can help within the boundaries of the work environment. This session will also explore emotional intelligence and resilience, two key elements in creating a productive and high performing workplace.

“We are really excited to be working in this space and it’s fantastic to have the support of an organisation like SANE. We have traditionally worked in physical injury prevention and have seen firsthand how poor physical condition can impact our mind. We also know the reverse to be true. We are passionate about the connection between a healthy body and healthy mind and aim to provide our partners with proactive tools to ensure their workforce remains safe, fit and healthy…in every aspect.”

At Bodycare we believe in working in the lead space, working to prevent injuries, both physical and mental from occurring. We are big believers in being proactive and taking action before an incident or near miss occurs. We shouldn’t have to wait for the “ahh haa” moment before we take action.
