MHFA – We’re now training in Perth!

If you hurt yourself at work, chances are you’ll be treated by a first aider. But mental health problems aren’t usually as clearcut as treating a bruise or a sprain – it can be tough for you to know what to do in a time of need and you might feel out of your depth.

However, supporting someone who is experiencing symptoms of poor mental health at work can make an enormous difference to their recovery.  Mental health first aid training can give you the tools, knowledge, or confidence to support them if you’re first on the scene.

We are extremely excited to announce that we have our first public Mental Health course in Perth locked in for August!

In the course participants learn the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, where and how to get help and what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective. The program is offered over two days and covers four modules. All participants receive a copy of the MHFA Manual and a Certificate of Completion.

When and where:
14th & 15th August
9.00am – 5.00pm
Ey Building, 11 Mounts Bay road, Perth
