“we developed a proactive approach to healthcare, ensuring that workers are healthy, safe and injury-free, and they all go home to their loved ones and family at nighttime, because that’s their right and that’s what they deserve.”

Tell us a bit about yourself

Name: Jeremy Kestenberg

Role: CEO of Bodycare Workplace Solutions & Physiotherapist

Favourite Sports Team: I’ve been a proud Collingwood FC supporter for the last 40 years, but don’t hold that against me.

What’s your background?: I studied to become a physiotherapist at the University of Melbourne, initially working in private practice and in aged care. My career led me to Bodycare Workplace Solutions in 2023, where I joined the company as the Chief Commercial Officer, before taking over as CEO in 2024.

How do we combine clinical excellence with a technology-driven service model?

At Bodycare, clinical excellence and clinical evidence is at the heart of everything we do. Our technology-driven service model ensures that our customers and our clinicians receive the best clinical care, but also that is combined with our world-leading technology that has been built by Bodycare over the last 20 years to support the needs of our clinicians and our customers. In doing so, we developed a proactive approach to healthcare, ensuring that workers are healthy, safe and injury-free, and they all go home to their loved ones and family at night time, because that’s their right and that’s what they deserve.

What occupational health trends are you seeing?

So the trends we are seeing, obviously, there’s more embracing of technology in the market at the moment, whether it be AI or with technology as a whole. But whilst that is critical to our service, we can never lose touch of the human element of care. Making sure we have consistent clinicians on site, in your workplaces, that build connections between your workers, your managers and your organisation as a whole.

How does your experience shape how you lead and support a team?

As a physiotherapist myself, I fully appreciate what our clinicians out in workplaces across Australia and New Zealand are going through each and every day, and that really helps to drive the way we support them, from shadowing on site to career development opportunities, professional development and social events.
