Risk and Workplace Assessment
Risk and Workplace Assessment
Employers are obligated to ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, that workers and other persons are not exposed to the risk of a musculoskeletal disorder associated with a hazardous manual task. The completion of a risk assessment for hazardous tasks demonstrates a clear process for the application of suitable control measures.
Risk Assessments
Our Onsite Injury Prevention Specialists are the ‘fresh eyes’ in your workplace and will assist you in identifying hazardous manual handling risk factors and recommend strategies to reduce these risks through a number of solutions such as worksite layout, procedural changes, education and training.
We take a proactive approach to injury prevention which means mitigating health and safety risks before they become injuries. Our workplace programs include the following:
- Minimising health and safety risks
- Identify hazards
- Assessing & controlling risk
Using a risk matrix, tasks will be allocated a risk ranking. This ranking will enable your organisation to focus its resources on tasks where the risk is greatest. Our consultant can review any documented SOP’s against the way tasks are completed to identify any potential gaps in process and areas for improvement.
