Bodycare Injury Management Pty Ltd joins the Pacific Health Group through strategic acquisition

Bodycare Injury Management Pty Ltd (including Bodycare Workplace Solutions), the leading provider of injury prevention and occupational health services in Australia and New Zealand, today announced it will be joining Pacific Health Group through a strategic acquisition.

The acquisition marks an important milestone in Bodycare’s growth, strengthening its ability to support organisations and workers across both countries.

Founded in 2000, Bodycare was established to challenge the traditional, reactive approach to workplace injuries. By embedding physiotherapists directly into workplaces, the organisation began transforming how injuries were prevented, managed, and understood. This approach was further strengthened through the introduction of predictive data insights, supporting organisations in reducing injury risk, lowering insurance premiums, and creating healthier, happier workforces.

Over time, Bodycare has continued to evolve its services to meet the changing needs of the organisations it supports.

Today, Bodycare delivers integrated services across the entire employee lifecycle – from recruitment through to retirement – including pre-employment medicals, onsite multidisciplinary clinics, injury triage, health and wellbeing programs, safety consulting, and aged care services across a wide range of industries.

Founder Dean Mohr said the partnership represents a natural next step in the journey he started more than 25 years ago.

“When I started Bodycare, the goal was simple – to ensure that every worker could go to and from work each and every day, injury free” said Mohr.

“What the team has built since then has been incredible. This next step is about making sure Bodycare continues to grow, evolve and support workplaces into the future, while staying true to the values it was founded on.”

CEO Jeremy Kestenberg said the partnership reflects the strength of the organisation that has been built over more than two decades.

“Bodycare has always focused on proactive injury prevention and delivering meaningful outcomes for the organisations we support,” said Kestenberg.

“Joining Pacific Health Group allows us to invest further in infrastructure, data capability, and service innovation, while maintaining the high standards of care our clients expect.”

Pacific Health Group is New Zealand’s largest integrated healthcare provider delivering injury rehabilitation, occupational health, psychosocial and counselling services nationally. The organisation has been expanding across the region and identified the Bodycare Workplace Solutions group as a natural partner as it enters the Australian workplace health market.

“Bodycare Workplace Solutions has built an outstanding reputation for workplace injury prevention and high-quality occupational health services,” said Ben Teusse, CEO of Pacific Health Group.

“Their strong focus on prevention, clinical expertise and measurable outcomes align closely with our own approach. We see significant opportunity in bringing our organisations together to deliver enhanced workplace health services across both markets.”

Bodycare will continue to operate with its existing Executive team, maintaining local leadership with no changes to service delivery or the clinical model.

“This next chapter allows us to build on the strong foundation that has been created over the past 25 years,” added Kestenberg.

“We are proud of the culture and partnerships that define Bodycare, and we look forward to continuing to support workplaces across Australia and New Zealand for many years to come.”
