In November, the Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine (ANZSOM) held their 2020 Conference, and our very own Meg Parsons not only attended, but also presented, alongside a myriad of other highly esteemed health professionals. The ideas, knowledge and information shared throughout the event were first class, providing invaluable insights into the current landscape of workplace health. Given the success of the event (not to mention the incredible feedback following Meg’s talk), we have decided to hold a Lunch and Learn Seminar where Meg will discuss her top three takeaways from the conference and leave you with a re-run of her compelling presentation which dives into the nitty gritty of workplace wellbeing.

Join us on Thursday 18th February where we will share learnings, research and tangible tips to ensure your workforce can really thrive.

A Clinical Take on Employee Health and Wellbeing – With COVID-19 challenging how we think about health and highlighting the importance of looking after our wellbeing, employers are focusing on solutions to support and maintain their employee’s health. However, given the holistic nature of many wellbeing programs, it can sometimes be difficult to measure the impact of initiatives on employees. With this in mind, what evidence is there to suggest these programs really make a difference? Is it a one size fits all approach? And has the COVID-19 pandemic shaped the delivery of health and wellbeing in the workplace? As an experienced Nurse, working for a leading health and wellbeing provider, Meg has first hand experience in delivering health and wellbeing programs to a variety of industry sectors and is able to answer these questions, whilst sharing her learnings on what works, what doesn’t and what’s next.
